EWB-USA Central Houston was chosen as one of seven premiere chapters from 2009. Premiere chapters are selected based on the following criteria: Technical preparedness, presentation, and design; Cultural awareness and sensitivity; Community Education and Participation; Health and Safety for the community and the chapter; Administrative attentiveness; and following EWB-USA procedures and guidelines.

Mentoring

EWB-Central Houston is seeking student mentors!

If you’re a busy professional interested in Engineers Without Borders and enjoy sharing your experience with others, then student mentoring may be for you!  The student chapters of Rice University and the University of Texas at Austin are currently in need of professionals to mentor their projects.  If you have experience in structural design, water distribution systems, water treatment, sanitation systems, electrical systems, solar power systems, or health education, please contact info (at) ewbhouston.org today!
