<p> This is a short reminder that the January Chapter meeting has a special purpose and will be at a special location:</p>
<p> Wednesday January 11, 2012;  7:00 PM – 9:00PM</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Houston Department of Public Works Building,  1002 Washington Ave, Houston 77002</span></li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Green Building Resource Center:  Check out -</span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.codegreenhouston.org/">www.codegreenhouston.org</a></span></li>
<li> Steve Stelzer, Architect &amp; Program Director will give a short talk on “Green” Happenings in Houston.  Tour his GBRC.</li>
<li>The rest of the evening will be a free social/networking event; drinks (wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages) &amp; light snacks provided by the Chapter.</li>
<li> Kickoff of our membership drive.  Please bring a friend or acquaintance that might be interested in joining.  Please remember we need many disciplines other than engineering.</li>
<li>We will have displays &amp; information about EWB &amp; our Chapter. </li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It has been about a week since we successfully had the Kenya Fundraiser &#8220;Haba Na Haba&#8221;. The EWB-Central Houston Chapter is very thankful to have hosted over 100 guests at the Houston Museum of African American Culture.</p>
