Season of Giving 2021!!!

EWB-USA CHPC is Ready for 2021…With Your Help!!!

2020 was a long challenging year for all of us no matter which part of this planet you call home. However, 2021 also was one of resilience, compassion, adaptation, and perseverance.

We have also tried to put our best foot forward, in doing so we:

-Completed remote monitoring trip in Payorote and San Francisco of preiviously-installed rainwater harvesting systems
-Completed remote implementation of the first phase of clean water solutions for the Kimaut, Kenya
-Shifted efforts toward remote assessment, monitoring and implementation support working with our NGO partners in Peru, Kenya, Philippines, India, and South Africa
-We have collaborated with our NGO partners to target acute community needs whether that be PPE or food security
-We have helped educate our community partners on WASH education
-Embraced virtual platforms continue project and chapter meetings as well as conduct trainings and mentoring efforts while building our volunteer pool

We look forward to 2022 and need your help to make this year a success.

We are looking to raise $25,000 in our Season of Giving Campaign running through Jan 15th.

These funds will be used to:

-Complete latrine system for Payorote, Peru community

-Build a dock system for the Payorote, Peru community, completely inaccessible without use of the Amazon River

-Complete Engineering Assessments and Analyses to finalize the bridge design to allow the Tapul, Philippines community to safely cross the Ulot River

-Finalize design and begin implementation of the 2nd phase of clean water solutions for the Kimaut, Kenya community

-Support monitoring efforts in Chipiya, India and Bergnek, South Africa communities

-Continue to find more ways to serve others and empower communities and our volunteers

Over our Chapter’s life, we have improved the lives of roughly ~9,000 people over the course of 11 projects. With our 100+ volunteer member organization and over 10 years of experience, we are ready to continue this work with this funding.
